It’s a bit of a balancing act, since as a licensing agency, CCLI must remain neutral and provide equal opportunities to all the labels and artists on their various platforms. But the influence of a strong presence on CCLI’s various media streams cannot be denied.

In the crush of media choices these days, CCLI has emerged with a very unique voice. And a very focused audience. Worship leaders and worship teams from over 250,000 churches worldwide, to be precise.

With so many conventional media, digital media and social media sources now available to maxeimize an artist’s visibility, the label and artist representatives have begun to increasingly add CCLI to their media plan and marketing campaigns and strategies for new releases. For a lot of good reasons.

Here is Trevor and Cherie’s CCLI checklist:

• Partner e-blast.
• Monthly e-newsletter banner.
• Artist-written blog, featured in InWorship, CCLI’s high-traffic web destination.
• Amazon, iTunes links, YouTube video links hosted on each Song Detail page within SongSelect, CCLI’s lyric and sheet music database.
• A home page Song Banner on SongSelect, for that special worship song that’s emerging in a big way.
• A unique live and video performance venue for the bands and artists, on location at the new CCLI office, just outside Portland, OR. Known as @CCLI.

For Trevor and Cherie, it’s going to be a very busy and very exciting year.
